This photograph is from a new development in London called moreLondon, this image is from the long metal grid going across a few shows and cafes in a straight line.
This is such a strong and eyecatching piece of a architecture.

My image of the end of a roof of an old 20th century tube station, i find this very effective because this image was the start of my black and white shooting and brings out a nice contrast.

Major Project Plan

My plan for my final magor project for my btec photography course is Abstraction in Archtectiture, I went to see a Exhibition in London over the weekend at the Tate Modern to expand my idea. It was the Rodchenko and Popova : defining Constructivism.

This Iamge is done by the artist Lyubov Popova, who was a Cubist and Constructivist painter and designer.


This work was at the Tate when i went to view it.

Still Life




One of my projects for my qualification is a image and text project, the first bit of research i was thinking when i thought of image text was the Barbara Kruger images.
I decided to go with a much different approach, because my project had to done in the studio and in black and white, so i went with a still
life approach because i did not want to use models again.
My idea was to have a modern take on dutch still life of the fruit bowl, with such items as fruit cocktail tins.
Im planning to take my photos very low key, with anchorage text for captions such as 'Still life with grapes, value fruit and cola cup'
